10/29/23 marked the beginning of what would become Team C.

What started as a simple Instagram DM turned into a six-hour conversation — one that neither David nor Trina realized would completely change the trajectory of their lives.

Thirty-one months later, that conversation has grown into a love rooted in communication, growth, faith, laughter, and intentionality. Together, they have learned to love each other through their hearts and through their love languages while building a life centered on unity, purpose, and joy.

On 6/4/2026, David planned the surprise proposal of a lifetime.

With ten special pictures capturing their journey, the beautiful sound of a viola playing “When I First Saw You,” the breathtaking backdrop of the Delaware Art Museum, and 35 of their closest family members and friends gathered to witness the moment — Trina said “Yes.”

Team C has grown through meaningful conversations, traveling, good food, music, and walking side by side toward their shared destination: happiness.
